time to change smth

It has been a week since I came from the USA and I am already fully plunged into everyday routine. My university takes all my strength, even spending there only 6 hours is too much for me. It is time to find some job or internship) Soon it will be Moscow Fashion week and I hope to get an accreditation) so now I will just wait and try to study)I will keep you posted)

THE GLORY OF RUSSIAN FASHION: EXHIBITION AT MANEZH 18 - 31 OCTOBER

The exhibition of the outstanding designer, Slava Zaitsev (whose name means Glory) will take place from 18 to 31 October, 2012 in Manezh. The exhibition, devoted to the 30-year anniversary of Slava Zaitsev's Fashion House, will show off the most significant works of the couturier.

It is the first retrospective exhibition of Slava Zaitsev, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of his Fashion House and the 50th anniversary of his creative work. It will be held with the support of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia and Manezh from 18 to 31 October, 2012. Over these two weeks all those interested will be able to familiarize themselves with the masterpieces of the designer, tracing his career from 1982 to the present. The exhibition will present unparalleled luxuries and chic creations from the Fashion House. Exclusive gowns will be on display which were created by the designer over the past 30 years.

Some of the more famous collections of the Master include: "1000th anniversary of the Christianization of Kievan Rus"(1987-1988), presented in New York and Paris; "Russian Seasons"(1988), presented in Paris; a collection of clothes from European fabrics(1988), presented in Munich; a collection of men's fashion(1989), presented in Florence at Men's Fashion Week; and a collection of women's clothing from domestic fabrics(1990), presented at the Tokyo summit, Five Outstanding Artists of the Fashion World. There will also be two personal collections which were shown in Belgium(1993-1994), collections from when the Fashion Theater Of V. Zaitsev participated in the international fashion festival of in Berlin (1999), and the exhibition of artistic works and suits exhibited in the Russian embassy in London(2010).

The couturier, artist, poet, Director of the Moscow Fashion House, member of the Russian Academy of Arts, National Artist of Russia, laureate of the State Prize and the prize of the President of Russia, and honorary citizen of Russia and Paris, Vyacheslav Zaitsev has, with his talent, won numerous titles for artistic creativity. The French press has even dubbed him the Red Dior. In 2005 he was awarded first prize in the field of fashion and style by ASTRA "for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion", and in 2012 won "Best Designer of the Year" by GQ magazine.

Vyacheslav Zaitsev has for years been a pioneer and one of the most successful Russian fashion designers in the modern sense. Zaitsev was the first designer among his Soviet counterparts to open his own European-style fashion house which continues to thrive to this day. In Soviet times he opposed the collective practice for the creation of clothes and was the first to begin putting his label on his creations. Since 1982, this master has created artistic collections in Prêt-à-Porter and Haute Couture which are famous far beyond our own country, while retaining his own distinct, elegant style.

Yesterday I was on amazing wedding of my friend. This wedding was a little bit different from others that I visited. The couple was incredibly beautiful and harmonious, you don't need words as you can see on their faces how happy they are. They both were beaming. I think every person in his or her life is dreaming of such idyll and hapiness. I am really happy for them and wish them to live happily ever after!

KAI is the designer for the Thai Royal family

The commemorative 25th Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia will take place in Moscow from 18 to 22 October, 2012. More than 50 designers from Russia, Ukraine, the UK, Italy and the US will present their collections at the new venue for fashion week, Manezh, located at 1 Manezhnaya square. The participants will be showing their Spring/Summer 2013 collections.

In addition to the headliners of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, the most popular Asian designer, Somchai Kaewthong, also known as Kai, will present his new collection in the upcoming season. Back in 1968, Kai opened his first boutique in Bangkok, but to this day he is the newest of the true Thai fashion designers. Kai's atelier sews custom, hand-made clothes for day and evening events. Kai has created images and clothing for many women, helping them show off their individuality. He has clothed many celebrities, among them the First Lady. However, his main achievement and the object of his pride can be found in the fact that he designs for the Thai Royal family.

Elle Thailand refers to Kai as the "legendary designer of Thailand." Kai is also a popular expert in the field of fashion, and often lectures at prestigious fashion design schools across the country, as well as at events hosted by various professional and social clubs.

Kai will present his new collection on 21 October, 2012 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia.

This is not the first time "the largest fashion week in Eastern Europe," as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is called, has welcomed guests from Thailand. In 2009 the Princess of Thailand opened Fashion Week at the Congress Center of ITC. Princess and designer Sirivannavari demonstrated her fashion collection "Ethnic Rock" at Russian Fashion Week.

GILES TO PRESENT AT MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK RUSSIA

As part of Moscow's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, renowned British designer Giles Deacon will present his collection. He has been recognized "Designer of the Year" for his breathtaking career in the fashion industry.

Having graduated from London's Central Saint Martins College of Arts & Design, Giles Deacon worked 2 years with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac in Paris, and also created designs for brands such as Emanuel Ungaro, Bottega Veneta, Gucci and Louis Vuitton.

His first collection under the brand of Giles Deacon, which was subsequently renamed to Giles, was presented in 2004 at the Chelsea Pensioner's Club at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea. The collection became a sensation and was bought by Harvey Nichols, Liberty and Selfridges.

In 2004 Giles signed a contract with the company New Look, becoming a design consultant for New Look Gold in retail sales. He also worked for 3 years as the Creative Director for the Italian luxury outerwear brand Fay, which is part of Tod's Group.

During the following years, Giles won numerous awards: British Fashion Awards named him "Best New Designer" in 2004, then Elle did the same in February 2005. In 2006 Giles won the nomination for "British Designer of the Year" at the British Fashion Awards, and in 2009 received the award from GQ as "Fashion Designer of the Year." He has also won the prestigious ANDAM award.

Today, Giles Deacon is one of the most popular British designers. He takes part in the procurement process, which is particularly appreciated by international buyers. Many celebrities continue to follow his style. Thandie Newton, Kate Moss, Kristen Scott Thomas, Drew Barrymore, Kylie Minogue, Lily Allen, Daisy Lowe, Daphne Guinness, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Carey Mulligan are among Giles' fans. Victoria Beckham wore a Giles dress to the opening of last summer's Olympic Games in London.

all over again

It was so hard to come back to normal life, to the university that wants to kick you out because you went to the another country to practice your language as they don't give you such an opportunity and miss a lot of classes in September. It is so sad to remember about such a nice summer and think about cold autumn and winter in Moscow at university. But it is also cool to meet you friends and talk to them for hours. I don't know what I gonna do with my job or internship this year I just know that tomorrow I have an important French exam and that I really need to focus on my classes but it is so hard when your had is still on another mainland)
I bought in the USA a lot of clothes and of course... shoes! I have 11 new pairs)They make me happy)) Soon you gonna see all of them)
Today I spent many hours in the nice cafe talking to my friends)It was such a nice day)

summer

Today is my last day of summer and I finally decided to overcome my laziness and to write a few words about my summer. It is hard to describe all 4 months in a few words and even in a million words, I just can say that this summer is hard to forget and the people whom I met I will always remember. With a lot of them we became really close and  the parting was all in tears.
Everything started in Woodloch, the place where we were working. We had a lot of parties all together and stories that will forever remain in our pocono house. All people there were really nice to us and our trips to the movie to Scranton I loved most of all)) At the end of August I was sick of the food and work but after the month outside this place I already miss it.

Next stop is Philadelphia for one day and Miami. Despite the fact that in Miami we were living in the hostel for 15$, we had a really great time! There was all slovak mafia and just two russian girl(Veronika and I). We had a lot of fun together)

Then we went to New York and spent there 5 days meeting our friends and walking around the city. At that time there was Mercedes Benz Fashion week and there were so many well dressed people. We were living right next to the Lincoln Center and every morning in Starbucks it was a real fashion show there)

After NYC we went to Los Angeles)We were living in the apartment of the sister of our sweatheart Spanish girl Barbara, later we found out that her sister is also a real sweetheart! I already miss them both so much! We had a great time in LA,visiting Hollywood, Santa Barbara, Venice Beach, Beverly Hills, Studio Universal and Sony)It was awesome)

Our next stop is for one day in Vegas! It was uforgettable) Living in the hotel Bellagio seemed that we were living for one day in another perfect and luxurious word.

And then spending some time in LA we came back to New York and these 4 days here were really cool and and the same time very hard!Almost every day we were telling goodbye to somebody.And this is the worst part. At this sad note my perfect summer is officially over. One more day and I gonna be again in Moscow. Still not ready to come back, I wish I could prolong this summer )
